Hello, I am trying to use the disavow tool. A single Domain is showing me the 200 something backlinks. But they don't exist. Can i put only the Root url for example:-- http://www.domain.com do it will disavow all the url present in this Domain????
Yes, assuming to be safe feel free to disavow it Enter it like this though domain:url.com That will disavow the entire domain
for more detail you can read this post. searchenginewatch (DOT) com/article/2237534/Google-Unnatural-Links-Manual-Penalty-A-Recovery-Guide
I advice against using the disavow tool altogether. Before it, Google and Bing (I have not read about any other search engine actively penalising you for the inbound links you get to your site) had not a reliable way to tell which were good links or which were spam links. If you use the disavow tool, you would be telling them "these links are spam and are causing problems with my rankings", which could be taken as a way to confirm you tried to spam some time ago. Ask yourself if you really want to do that. I wouldn't. My site was victim of the Penguin update penalty before and it is free from it. You can also get rid of a penalty without using disavow. I suggest you to go that way instead. Hope this helps.
Yes, you can. Google has also given clear instruction on how to use this tool. You can check here for clear insight: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en
I have issue too using disvow tools. I followed the instruction by google and I can't get it right? I want to disvow just given page not whole website or domain. Please help thanks
I'm quite new to disavowing links. Will this mean that once you disavow it, it will be not be associated to your site for good? How do you get started on this?
It's really quite simple. NEVER use the disavow. If you want a link not to count, REMOVE it. Don't expect the disavow to achieve anything.
Read what Matt Cutt says on the topic. If you get a warning or a manual spam action because of spam links pointing to your site it is best to disavow them. Actually the best thing would be for that site owner to remove those links for you but in most cases that will not happen. If you paid for a bunch of links back in the day when that was the thing and now those same links are causing problems it is best to remove them using disavow..simple. Those links that Google has flagged as paid links or spam you do not want to "count".
SEOsince99 what do you do with links back to your site that you never asked, paid or wanted? Hehe... you must disavow them since most are pure spam that you never asked for. Nor even approved.
If you are trying to spend several hours or days doing the job that will never give you a positive result, you can continue using this tool. We have tried 4-5 times on different domains that were penalised by Google. More than 6 months passed and we still don't see any position update. If you have a website penalised, the best option is to forget about it and start working on another one ... but this is something you understand only after spending so much time and seeing no result
More unsuccessful stories about disavow. It is a waste of time to submit disavows. I always recover rankings by removing links while everyone wastes time on disavow More rankings for me though!
Quite simple, I have them removed, if they can't be removed I contact the hosting company or domain registrar. I don't waste any time with disavow.
you should use " LINKS TO YOUR SITE " tools from google webmaster . so listed all links with out quality and upload list on disavow tools . GOOD LUCK .
