Hello everyone I've recently been talking to quite a few people interested in my Freelancing job specifically from India. I've posted that I want 500-1000 words of content in my specific niche and it sounds like it will cost me anywhere from $10-$15 per 1000 words of content? My question is 1.) How good do you suppose the content is? They have a rating system on there and I've seen reviews and ratings $10-$15 seems kind of low for internet worthy content. Afterall CONTENT IS KING!
So you're basically paying $ 1 - $ 1.5 per 100 words. I'd say that sounds a bit low and i'd pay higher to get quality content. Then again, the market is a buyers market at the moment so you may be able to score excellent content at lower prices. Content is key!
Hey Matthew, That means that purchasers (like yourself) dominate the market over the providers (writers). You get to dictate price and really get the best quality at the lowest prices. I'd recommend you start with small purchases (100 - 200 word articles) as samples (paid) and then filter those writers down to get a couple good ones and then rotate them.
One thing is that people in places like India are used to making pennies a day so they could (emphasis on could) have good content and are charging less for more people's business. Read reviews, check them out, ask for sample work, communicate with them, make sure they speak English, ask for more info, show interest and persistence. People bulllshitting you should drop out at this point if they know they can't get BS past you. Be diligent. Be prepared to pay more for quality work. Make sure they're well versed in SEO.
