Which logo do you like better?

Hey guys I am launching a viral content site with videos, pictures and stories. Our typical user is from the ages of 18-25. What logo do you guys like better?

Basically which one do you think is more brandable and effective?

 

I like the first one. A bit more eye catching. They are both good though. I guess it all depends on what the rest of your site will look like.

First one would look good if you changed the header color to black, which I'm sure that would be your plan. The second one looks pretty good too. Cool looking layout.

Ooh. That's tough. I like them both. I'm thinking it looks better with the more simple red one on the white background. Not really sure though.

I agree with Moonwalker. The first logo I can easily relate to.
The others, I am not quite sure how to interpret them, and
therefore, how to decide if they relate to me in some way
or another.

What I am saying is, with the first logo, I immediately
understand the focus. But with the others, I an not
so sure of their message.

Yes. There is a sense of elegance with black logo.

But I wonder if your clients/customers might not
be able to pick that up immediately.

For the first one, it definitely looks better on the header layout. It lists out the functions of the site clearly. My suggest is to change the icon to black and white. Then change the logo to red. So the logo look stands out among the other icons.

For the second one, it looks like a mobile version of your site. For the word, "Browser". I have not idea what is that mean or what it will get after clicking on it. Same for the "human" icon. The icons and word must be replaced to better illustrate the use of them. Second version would be good on tablet and phone because it uses less space. First design will not fit into the mobile.

For your logo, please convert the blue light into part of the logo or remove it for good. The blue light looks like a clipart and not professional. It looks like it is grabbed randomly from Google. However, the overall look of the logo is fine.

 

Hi pappa_don, please take a look at the image I posted below to see some adjustments I made. You can see how the font choice affects your overall look for the logo. You could either decrease your font size or change a different font. In my opinion, the one you are using now is a bit overpowering and takes the focus away from the image on the left.
Also by increasing the red circle you will achieve a consistent look for your design as you are using a bold font and the white half moon doesn't really stand out being so close to the edge of the red circle.

 

I like the second one better. The first does not look professional and blue line does not match the rest of the colors of the site.

If you were to have the first one, remove the blue line and have just black and white icons with a full black header and without the random colors inside icons.

The second one makes the site look better, but I would change " Browse " to something else. And maybe bold logo like the post above

One with the white background seems better but red on white is not too sharp of a contrast. Try darker on white.

 

Yes, I like First logo its best for professional wise . Its look like great and also impact the viewer . But you design of thought is too good
