Does anyone record themselves developing?

I saw a few youtube videos of speed developing and I thought it was pretty cool to start. It was really nice to watch so I though I might start. What do you think?

Do you mean physically (as in growing-up) or do you mean developing / coding sites? :)

I don't make videos, but I definitely get more done/faster if I let someone do a remote screen share of my computer when I'm working. I do less screwing around on my computer when I think someone is watching. :)

I think this would also be a great idea for tutorial videos! Record while developing and future developers can learn from them! I would defiantly be interested in watching some!

As I was reading this thread, it struck me that there may be other disciplines/skills that could be recorded for fun and/or as a tutorial. Photoshopping a picture immediately comes to mind in the marketing realm. On the sales side, how about quickly researching (online, of course) the background of a high value prospect? Going to Google, linkedin, facebook, etc., to find valuable information about the prospect before the first meeting, e.g.

Well, it was fun to watch for a few minutes. As a non-programmer, of course, I did not understand any of it. I am going to have to check out some speed photoshopping as I may be able to follow that a bit better.

This is much more impressive to me, a non-programmer, because it is visual. Let me ask: are you actually working that fast or did you record it and then speed up playback? It's moving so fast!

No I recorded myself at normal speed and then sped it up for youtube. it would be long to watch every move as I was posing to grab a drink etc.
