Marketing a Game site? First 3 things to do????

    I just got my game site online and running. What do you suggest are the first 3 things I do?

    Directories? Links? what?

    I would concentrate on traffic building over SEO for a game site (saturated market - hard to rank well). Banner advertising - put social bookmark links on all pages - link exchange. Whats your budget, because if you have some money to work with, then pretty much all of that changes.

    What kind of game site is it? An arcade site? If so... that market is pretty saturated so I'm not sure what can you do without any money.

    Branding, make sure your users love your game site.. word of mouth will be your best friend.

    True, you need to have quality unique games (assuming this is an arcade)

    there's so freakin many out there just littered with ads and stock games.
