Adwords gives me Landing page experience: Below average . I read the google help page on landing page experience but I really can't work out what's wrong with it. My web address is: https://taskenizer.com
Xylon, you will need to make sure that the descriptions on your landing page (page title, body text, URL) have the keywords that you are using in your Ad groups. Once you align those, check the quality score for those keywords in the Adwords interface. Let us know how it goes.
your landing page, Keyword and Ad should be related to each other. Not these factors affect the quality. Lets have an example, if you have good average position, in first week you have CTR 2 and in second week it 0.05 then definitely your quality score get affected. Because it is showing that user are not interested to visit such page. Then option is modify the page or create the new page.
NicYakimchuk: thankyou. I have added all my most important keywords to my landing page today. Let's see if it makes a difference.
@mayur : Does this landing page optimization holds true for blogs too? My blog it athulat.blogspot.com where as my title is blog ABN.
I wonder how long it will take for google to notice my improvements? All of my keywords still have a quality score of 1/10.
In some cases it takes a long time (weeks). I try call to Adwords support and but they don't know either. They said, it's probably updated by same Google robot as for Google search.
Focus on CTA (Call-to-Action), headlines, context, content and forms. When your visitors enters to the site, your form needs to get it to your CTA and convert.
Here is what you need to do to find out what is really wrong.. 1. Set up a single adgroup using 1 keyword and 2 ads. 2. Make sure your landing page has title, description, and keywords matching the ad. 3. Add an H1 to the top of the page with the keyword phrase. 4. Make sure the entire page is related to your keyword phrase. 5. Try to ad part of your keyword to the display URL if there is room... like mydomain.com/mykeyword It is not necessary to have a page that matches the display URL.. but the landing page url must match the domain of the display URL. IF this does not yank the qs right on up there then its time to get out of adwords...at least this way you can find out what you are dong wrong.. I read some crazy stuff up there... like I just put all my keywords on the landing page... dumb as a rock.. you only want the keywords that the particular ad is about... nothing else...
