Black Windows
Enchanted within,
The shackles of sleep,
as the dust floats across the land,
spinning and twirling in patterns,
but she never does come,
knocking my door,
as I sprint across hallway windows,
searching for the light amidst the darkness,
some that'd join me for the first,
tonight,
and some that always stood out.

Waiting for a flash or sign,
or the occasional brush of hand across the glass,
leaving fingerprints on mist,
and I wish I could touch,
and feel,
what lay underneath that skin,
The lives the window concealed,
The stream of thoughts that lay stagnant, on panes,
and like every good story that ended too soon,
the lights would flicker and die,
Leaving me alone again,
again,
To make green patterns in black…

We know some of you are getting overly judgemental here right now.
Thinking, “why is a random poet screening lyrics in an Internet Marketing forum?” But, we will get to that in just a second.
Content today is not about mindlessly researching and rehashing the Internet. With the growing use of Mobile Devices and the Social Media, people are becoming too particular about the kind of content that gets displayed on their news feed.
