Contest Blog Design $100

Hi guys,

I want this blog redesigned.

Very simply stated:

1. The design elements should be the same as this blog (another blog of mine.) By design elements, I am referring to the font, the colours (gold, blue, green, purple, and red). I also refer to the font. The old header is here.

2. The layout should be the same as this.

3. Attention to detail is important.

Contest will go for 7 days. Thank you!

What do you mean by " the layout should be the same as this" . You mean you want every web element the same but with the specified colors and font?

Well, I would not say every element. But most elements. I am open to suggestions that improve upon design.

 

Very nice, Natali! I would like to see more use of the colours, though.

Looking at the work, however, I am thinking I may have been less than perfectly clear in my original post. The leftnav in your design is still like the old design, layout-wise. I like the design elements, but not the layout.

I am wondering if we need that bg image. The square tiles on the right and left do not really appeal to me.

The other thing in the top nav seems to lack colour. I will post more later - gotta check out of the hotel now and get on the road.

Great job, Natali! I really like the blue topnav.

The coloured border lines, though, seem a bit harsh. Maybe fatter borders would seem softer, friendlier?

 

I like this the best so far, but I am not entirely in love with the half-chevrons - the 45 degree angled lines, whatever those are called. ...

Maybe make the full chevrons like in the header graphic? ...
