Contest $25 Logo Design Contest (48 Hrs.)

Hello every one I am making a logo for my company called Cardiff Apps . Just like the name hints its a company that makes Mobile Applications.

I'm thinking i want the company name in the logo, and a Cardiff Dragon Typing on a key board. Cardiff is a city in Whales, which is a part of the UK. The symbol for the city is a dragon. Below is an example from the welsh flag. Please only submit original artwork.


The winner will need to provide the logo in psd and vector.

I will not accept any private message (PM) submissions. This is extremely important to me. All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions.

The contest is for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on. Please let me know in the thread if you have any questions.

Wow this is great work, you submitted quality first entries in both my contests. Can I see what it looks like with a Cardiff Apps underneath that isn't as wide? I'm curious how it will look.

 

This is a great concept, I love the idea to have the dragon on a tablet instead of a computer. Can you stylize the dragon a little more. I love falloutvic 's dragon becasue of how stylized and unique it is. I love where you are going though. Also could you take out the "mobile Applications?". It might also look a little better against a different back ground. Thanks for the submission I'm glad to have you on another contest.

 

falloutvic after talking to my sponsor we are impressed with your design, we both liked the plain white one as well. After seeing IM3D's though we were wondering if you could replace the computer with a tablet. That makes much more sense for an App company. If that isn't an option can I see what it would look like as Cardiff Digital instead of Cardiff Apps? Thanks for the work, you will always be getting an invitation to my future contests.

Wow this is great work. I'm very impressed, I'm liking the tablet because computers are going to be a thing of the past. I'm wondering if the tablet would look a little more recognizable if it was laid vertically instead of horizontally. And I think Cardiff Digital is my favorite words under.

 

Thanks for the submission. after seeing some more original dragons instead of the traditional ones I've really started to like that style more. Also I like the orthogonality to have the dragon on top of the ipad but I think I like it using it better. I'm also not crazy about the green for the fount color. Thanks for doing something very original though.

 

Thanks for the submission. I like the unique aspect of having the dragon curl around a smart device. The dragon is so simple though that I think people are going to miss the point that it's a symbol for Cardiff the location. I need the dragon to have some character and really draw the attention to it. Extra points for originality though.

Hello every one I'm sure that you have been very frustrated with the Digital point website down. I am going to extend the contest to make up for the two days that we missed. This contest will end Tuesday at 5PM Hawaiian time.

 

Wow this is a huge improvement. Can I see what it would look like without the tongue sticking out?
