Hi all, I would like to know what do you think is the best for professional video editing. Thanks in advance
I've used Premiere Pro and it suits my needs as a hobbyist. I believe Final Cut is the industry standard though.
Acquire professional video editing software, I recommend Premiere Pro or Avid. You can then market your services online and bid for projects for freelancing sites.
Windows Movie Maker is the free choice for video editing but isn't very good software. It constantly closes when your in the middle of something for no reason. CNET give's it a 1 star rating and doesn't recommend it for any user. Top 3 choices in video editing on the PC: 1) Adobe Premiere Elements 2) Ulead Video Studio 3) Sony Vegas
I think adobe Premier CC is the Best. It might be intimidating at first but you'll get the hang of it. There's a lot of useful tutorials on YouTube.
Have been using Sony Vegas for many years now. The other thing you should consider is having a really powerful PC to work. Generally people are using MACs for video editing purposes but those aren't cheap either.
Back when I was producing movies in Hollywood we used Avid, but for most small business level video editing I would recommend Adobe Premiere Pro. If you are just starting out you can do a lot and learn a lot by using Premiere Elements for only about $100. On the computer side of things you really need a fast computer, especially with a fast video card and lots of video memory. Most computers designed for gamers work well as video editing computers. Don't forget to get all of the hard drive space you can afford. Video files are HUGE and Premiere working files are even larger. For special effects and title work get Adobe After Effects.
Hi, If you are familiar with Adobe products, Adobe Premier would be best choice. Else you could use Sony Vegas Pro, Camtasia etc. I feel comfortable with Sony Vegas personally and I am using it for the last 8 years. However, Adobe Premier is far better than others in versatility and class. Hope it helps!
I use Adobe Premier and Adobe After Effects also. You can do almost anything with the combination of those two
