For those who don't know what Google Apps is, it's a service from Google that allow it's users to use a variety of their products like Gmail, Drive, Talk, etc. with custom domain. So you can have email like: with Gmail system and interface.

 

For anyone with an online business, this could really save them a lot of money. I'm using a newer domain with google apps subscription and over time I've fed more than $90+ to them just for the use of their email platform.

 

I have domains with 500/1000 user limit as well.

 

Can you explain what you mean by secondary domain? Is this basically a work around?

 

No it's not a workaround, multiple domains is a feature from Google Apps, you can add up to 600 domains to a single account. However, there could be only 1 domain that will act as primary domain while the rest will have secondary status. For more information about this topic please refer to the following article:

Basically you will have very similar features between primary and secondary domains, except few limitations as described here:
