Marketing is moving into a clear direction which is social. This means interactions between customers and your brand. Practically, the goal is no more to "sell"; but to answers the needs and create answers to the opinions of the customers. The brand becomes a rock star. But wait, I don't want that all of this brings another issue: the quality of the products. A huge brand with an impressive loyalty audience, will continue to sell their products if their quality will be lower than in the previous years? Anything will become enthusiasm and social interaction?
I think that you mean Internet Marketing. Traditional Marketing has been doing this stuff and more for decades. I have a friend who has been doing focus groups, surveys, and other such market research for the big CPG companies (like Proctor & Gamble) for 30 years. Of course, the Internet has lowered the barriers for companies to do this type of research (via social media, in this case) as the collection of data is much easier. However, you still need someone who can interpret what the information is saying and predict what it means for the future of the company. Just being able to capture data and feedback is not enough.
yes, Internet Marketing of course. and you are right, traditional marketing has been doing this stuff a lot in the past. As example specific products events where the enthusiasm was a lot fake, but anyway it was working for those days. Never liked it.
I'm sure that you have heard this quite often and that is (the internet is still in it's infancy). Internet marketing is sure to change but the core concept will always remain the same.
It truly is still in its infancy and in my opinion we're now witnessing perhaps the biggest shift in internet marketing since the internet was born. That is the move from desktop to mobile marketing. The next few years will have a huge impact on how we market on the internet. Just my two cents.
It is true that when you answer the needs of the customers and then made product & sale it will give your brand more benefit. Because what customers feel you made product to them only. But yes it is important maintain quality, otherwise your game can change. overall whatever you do the underline principle of Marketing remains the same.
People are getting bored with social media. Facebook for example will never be #1 again. http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/facebook.com
Social networking is going to dominate the future marketing strategies. This is a strong platform where people can voice their opinions and portray information online. Also, mobile website development and mobile marketing are going to be the strongest factors of future marketing.
Are you sure about that? Facebook hasn't been #1 in about a year, and twitter is having a hard time holding onto positions. Only linkedin has been able to gain ground. China's social media is a different story, it might be the only place it's growing.
Spending on programmatic marketing is blowing up right now. If there's one thing I could put my finger on as far as the future goes -- it'd be that.
The end of privacy for everyone... The advertiser will know everything there is to know about his or her market and chase you everywhere online and then to television .. Kinda retargeting but with tv added to the retageting mix. All done threw your local provider ... Then throw in mobile, mobile and more mobile ....
Yes, programmatic is currently expanding into video, native, mobile, etc. So that looks like the wave of the future... for now.
