What's the best way to advertise to get more people to notice your app? I was thinking of facebook. I haven't seen to many apps advertised on facebook. Is that because it costs to much to advertise with facebook?

If you know what your target audience is, and what apps are popular within this group. You can try advertising through those mobile apps. That's what came to my mind.

Social marketing is the key. The fastest and easiest way probably. Though create video trailer might also bring more app installs.

Yes, Facebook ads are expensive. What sort of apps are you trying to advertise?

You can try reaching high-ranking bloggers to review your app. That would work great (a bit expensive though), especially if your app is really good.

imo, for a dating app, a virus video would hit the bullseye, especially if the target audience is young adults

FB ads are very costly and the unit economics won't work. Target those app review sites and get some traction from them first.

In-app advertising might be a good approach in your case. Facebook ads could also target people who have relationships on the mind.

You are right, because most people will check the app reivews before downloading an app, users will be convinced by the positive reviews then download your app.
You can get app reviews from third party at the first stage, like reviewapp4u or bestreviewapp, after you get some users, then you can invite them review your app.
