Is it unpossible to drive traffic to my youtube videos?

2 days ago I created my youtube channel ( to promote some affiliate products)
and yesterday I uploaded 11 videos, I have a large number of twitter folowers
when I send out one tweet I usually get about 600 clicks I tweeted about 40 times in a day that usually get me about 10,000 to 50,000 clicks with this message: pic.twitter.com/qZ8JY3Ty6Y How to blabla youtube.com/blaba How to blabla … l5978
the youtube link works and my videos are live and accepted by youtube, I have also tested it and a friend of mine on a other pc could go to the link too, but after I finished my campaign (should get about 10,000 to 50,000 vieuws) I saw that my most populair video has 26 vieuws and no comments and no affiliate link clicks, How is this possible?

I used a url shortner instead of the youtube link after I tweeted I saw that 20 people clicked on the link but when go back to my youtube statics I still see 26 views

 

Ther's no shame in paying for sponsored ads. That will boost engagement.

The best way to get traffic to your youtube video is to do something unexpected... if it's great and unexpected.. it could go viral =)

Alot of people say it's fake (it probably is for all I know), but what made it go viral was what happened in the second part of the clip. It's totally not something the average viewer would predict, so it got alot of attention without buying traffic for it.

Of course, it helps to browse other people's videos and post comments as much as you can (to let people know you're around), but you have to upload some good content to back it up. And if you add someone's video to your playlist, let them know by mentioning it in the comment(s) you post. They will be greatful and will be more likely to see what you've got.

And that's how you get alot of people to view your youtube content.

 

Rethink your niche, and if you're willing to to some grunt work try and build up a social following.

There's tons of different things you can do, but nobody is going to be able to hold your hand the whole way!

If the video isn't of interest to the viewer and they click off right away, it may not count as a view!

 

This (YouTube pays great attention to the time during which the visitors are viewing the video), and your statistics in your Analytics page is always displayed with delays.. Is the number of views below your video the same as the stats suggest?

 

There is a possibility that youtube just is late with refreshing statistics It happens especially with new videos. Maybe after few days, you will se much bigger number of views

 

You know what? Youtube recently announced they miscounted views from April 29th through May 12th by 2%... They said this should be later this month sometime. This may not sound like a big deal, but it most certainly is if you are a major contributor. So if you guys are counting on some heavy stats, then keep your eyes on youtube updates.

 

Try actually building an audience on YouTube then the visitors will come. Sounds like you are trying to make a quick buck to me and YouTube doesn't work like that.

 

Exactly! YouTube is an entertainment source, not a an "easy money" or "get rich quick" gig. I'm active on YouTube, because I enjoy the media there and it gives me the best opportunity to share moments with friends and family. Pretty much. Don't expect to make significant money on Youtube unless you are recieving 1 Million+ views per month.

 

Great video content can definitely draw people in and drive them to your site.

 

Well maybe if you hit a million views and your video gone viral in unexpected manner then that's the first step and just do it again.

Youtube works when you establish yourself as an authority with your videos. Your aim should be to provide value to your viewer. When you have more videos which are keyword optimized and regularly upload more content, you start to get subscribers.

It's a slow process initially, but ranking on Youtube takes time if you are new. Factors like keywords, social shares, number of videos, subscribers, likes, views, comments, etc all come into play.

You can go in for Adwords too. On some occasions I've payed as less as 50 paise for a view. Once you have more views by using ads, your videos will rank higher and thus stand a better chance of getting organic views too.
