    Link Pyramid is the best thing for link building at present time.
    Because as you are using a single home page link as you signature place, it'll copy and copy again to your every post.
    So who will care about inside sub-links of your site.
    Here Link Pyramid work perfectly. It shows all link of your site with hierarchical structure. And also single Link Pyramid is more effective than use single link hundred times.

    Honestly, like always quality links from people that share your site are the best. I wouldn't recommend buying links AT ALL. Google is very smart and you will do more harm than good.

    Try to create quality content so readers WANT to share your content.

    2. Documents and slide sharing
    3. Video marketing on Youtube and Dailymotion
    4. Content Marketing
    If you apply these, you will get effective backlinks and huge traffic too I hope.

    1. internal link building - thousand times batter than other backlinking.
    2. related blog commenting
    try to concentrate to your content 1st. content, content, content, all you think about the content. link building is risky now a days. guest blogging is also risky now a days. matt cutts have strict rules in guest blogging so its risky now. link exchange is highly risky. always remember, SEO is an art and try to do this in natural way. do not do artificial SEO like bad content and bad backlinkings.

    The issue you've raised is really stunning. Looks like Google is soon to achieved what it wanted - killing the link selling business -- unthinkable some three years ago. Of course, it's gonna remain, but for sure link buying and selling market is to go down. I'm still surprised to see how a search engine, small and handy just fifteen years ago has grown into Internet's police brigade. Wat's even more stunning -- it's an effective brigade.
