Not sure about that, might as well be some logical hiccup, are you sure that you did not mean ...any senior editor leaving DMOZ after that would come under suspicion that he/she was actually only there out of altruistic reasons?
I remember that there is an old saying in your country that goes something like: Riba ribe grise reb :D (Sorry for the spelling)

That sounds like the old saying in this country that goes "neener neener neener", or alternatively the Quebec version which goes, "ribbet ribbet ribbet".

I agree. I was a dmoz editor for my city. They accused me of listing sites for my own self interest and kicked me out after four years. Sure I added sites for customers and friends, but I never treated any application biased in any way. It was B.S. The DMOZ editors are full of themselves. I wish I could take back the work I did for that site. I was so angry.

Every single DMOZ editor is full of themself? No exceptions at all? Were you full of yourself the whole four years you were an editor? Are you still full of yourself?

Whine made with sour grapes is never very good.

I dont suppose you would care to tell everyone what city that happended to be now so we could independently look at it for our selves now would you? I would sure like to look at it and see for myself if it was B.S. or not.

Wow, that was a real intelligent comment. Did you make it up yourself, or did you get help? In the future, stick to what you know - stay away from humor. :D

Yeah, it was probably a little juvenile. How was your witty rejoinder any better? Things running a little slow at the Resourceless Zone these days, are they?

We don't send flowers, because we're not quite sure whether it's dead yet. But I've certainly given up on it, by now. I remember the last 'vacation' and it was much better managed than this one. It was planned, editors were warned in advance etc. This time: no information, no communication - nothing. We don't know what's going on, who's working on it, when it's projected to be fixed, whether something is even being fixed.

We know who is working on it, what is being fixed, and hopefully will know soon when we can edit again. We have had updates in the internal forums by the staff. This was not a planned outage, our server decided to go AWOL without a forwarding address, so editors could not have been warned in advance. It will be fixed in time.

Who ever told you this, is just making up stories. ;)

What is going to happen is out of control of any of editors including the admins.

Uhh, I did not say anywhere in my post that the editors were in control of anything. What I did state is that we (the editors) are being kept in the loop about what is happening. I also stated that we still do not know when the servers will be turned back over for editing. If you were still an editor, gworld, you would know what is being discussed, who is providing us the information, and what is going on. :p

No, you (editors) are not kept in the loop, unless I have missed it in internal forum. What section are you reffering to? It will be very hard to fix something that is not broken.
