60 days name transfer hold after winning GoDaddy auction

    Hello,
I recently won a domain at GoDaddy auction but just learned now that I cannot transfer this to another hosting provider right away and have to wait for 60 days since I registered this domain on my name... Is there any way to deal with this? To avoid it in the future for other domains?
    Thanks.

Yeah, I know a great way to avoid it -- don't go in for the GIANT SCAMS that are auctioned domain names. Domains are NOT SO IMPORTANT you should be throwing money away on an auction unless you win it for less than the cost of some other unused domain!

Much like a bunch of other nube-predating bull -- buying and selling of existing sites, off the shelf templates, SEO "experts" -- it's all snake oil doctor dimestore hoodoo used to prey on the ignorance of Joe Six-pack and Susie Sunshine.

Most of domain auctions is a GIANT SCAM indeed, yet there are some good finds, especially if you are after some narrow niche.

GD should name the bidders or bidding aliases in auctions
