I think that they will eventually introduce this type of new Google images.

But the point is that they will make it optional for the publishers. So they will indeed give publishers a choice with respect to which one of the many options they want on their site.

This, in turn, will provide better blending. Didn't you ever notice? The only place where there is no option in Google ads is this "ads by Google" text. Now, the option comes to that one too.

So stop being pessimistic; this will be a good thing eventually!!

I had a little G yesterday, but haven't seen it since -- looked crap!

Guess it's just Google messing with us!

I don't even think that is true. If there is a visual hint that brain can learn, they will learn and eyes will just skip the ad even if there is something that the visitor would actually want. That's why I hate that google doesn't allow for example change any ad layout even if that would actually help both publishers and advertisers - why do you think big sites like Digg can have their own ad formats?

Because they convert better and google cares about them.

Just that everyone understands: I'm against blending in the bad form ie, try to make it look like content that users will click accidentally but I'm also more than 100% against googles lousy looking ads - they look like that (google texts on every ad) just because big G wants to advertise themselves without paying anyone anything - and because they are so big they can.

Man I hope some other network like Yahoo will begin accepting new publishers from EU sometime soon.

yes the moment i can use YPN ads here in ireland ill kiss bye to google

the funny bit is they are recruting hundreds of people here to support their adsense/adwords program but to be honest that sound like a boring job answering emails/calls all day, not to mention Dublin is a hole

Now that's to much. Google put the Ads by Google + the logo.
Hope this is just a test.

Hey, who remember few months back G testing images next to ads?!
And now what - nothing :)

I think this will be the same - one week of testing, then they will just drop this, like they did with "images-next-to-ads" ;)

i saw it in my sites and also in other sites after refreshing i was corrected.
is this a move to prevent users from disguising ads and content?
