Firstly, unfortunately, yes I'm serious. I need a logo for a small humor website called DickPicOfTheWeek.com. Every Friday we'll be posting a new illustration which sums up the news of the week. Basically it will be something popular for the week redrawn as penises. As you can see on the website, we're using a simple WordPress theme where the logo has to fit within 200x115 pixels. This is a humor website so we don't want some romantic/erotic logo, think more like penises as letter or something similar. Feel free to superimpose your creations over the current placeholder logo on the website. Payment will be made via PayPal with the prize being $30AUD. I've been a member here for ~6 years so this is a guaranteed contest. Good luck!
Few issues with this design, mostly it just looks dated. I'm also unsure of it being able to fit within the 200x115 space reserved for the logo. I don't want to waste your time so please don't continue with this design. Thanks.
@john button I think this is too basic. There isn't really anything going on with the text & the image leaves a lot to be desired. Thanks for your entry but please don't continue with this design. @zasul This seems to be all over the place. No consistency with the fonts & just a big mess really. I appreciate the time you took to make it, but like the above, please don't continue working on this design. @Ungureanu Cristi I like the concept but I don't think it was executed very well. The words are too far apart (remember I only have limited space) & some of the letters look a bit off (the T looks like a mushroom). My suggestion would be to refine it by putting the words closer together & instead of making every letter a dick which hasn't really worked, perhaps focus on perfecting only a few letters which DO work. @wend666 I like it except for the colors chosen. Have you taken a look at the website & the theme we'll be using? If you place the logo on the site it doesn't really go well. If you can make it match than we could have a potential winner. @akhilrs Probably one of the best so far. Simple, to the point. I have to ask, is the image in the icon clipart or a custom illustration you created? That is important. Also same as above in regards to the color scheme. Alter it to go with the website & it would definitely be a strong entry.
