I have been driving traffic to this page mostly: http://internetmarketingtraining1.b...farrell-membership-teaching.html#.U4FVIWdOUdU To get traffic to this page I have: Written articles linking back to this site Using Google plus Forum marketing Adding more blog posts to get more traffic Stumbled every post By doing this I have gotten this blog post shared and made some sales. . Doing what Im doing doesn't really seem to be working when I look at my clickbank stats. I get clicks but no sales. Should I look at paid traffic? Looking for feedback.
It can be tough marketing online these days. I have around 20 affiliate stores... and it took around 6 months to get a stable $25/mo and 95% of the stores have yet to make a dime. (seems like a lot of work for almost nothing...)
Paid traffic for these subjects is tricky... most will keep the quality traffic for themselves and sell the leftovers.
Ready? Number one...quit promoting the product, start promoting YOU! Number two...start capturing leads, stop sending to an affiliate link immediately and losing all future contact with your leads. Number three...provide value to your readers that EXCEEDS their expectations. Number four....Have alternative offers you promote in your sales funnel. (Yes, you need your own sales funnel, even as an affiliate.) That's just a starting point..
Hi kb24 , where to start , you have got your product ok and you need your traffic which you are getting and you need to "keep" the traffic you are getting on a autoresponder AR. For someone to click the link means they are "somewhat" interested but the person doing the clicking will more than likely click a link with the product 6 more times before they will buy it. Think about yourself, do you buy something straight away on the 1st time , without checking around in other stores? or to find more information about the product in question. It is the same here online. People are clicking your links and reading and then going onto another site. Losing these people forever, never returning again. You need to collect people's email address who like the product and then sent them information on the product thru the follow up emails. To collect the emails create a squeeze page. The squeeze page is about the product. the information on the squeeze page is offering one point, minimal information and picture of the product. The squeeze page is to gain the email address and then sent follow up information on the product. To buy paid traffic, the answer is No. Kb24 , the above is what every guru does to make money and to sell any product. Whatever online business you decide to do , you need the AR and people in your AR to sell any product or service. Have a Good One
If you sell your own products, then I can see the need to capture emails.... But when you are an affiliate, you do not have much flexibility... So what is the point of capturing their emails then? Then when you have a multi-tude of sites, then it just seems to be a hassle to be collecting their emails when you do not even have any flexibility...
Hi Kb24 , you can create your own e-book with your "Microsoft Word" (MW and i am assuming you have MW) An ebook is is just a story so an article can be used. The article can be long or short describe your product , you can use images, graphics etc. When finished at the top far right button , click the PDF button , to create the pdf. Make sure you have links in the pdf that will sent the person to your product and/or to your squeeze page and your AR with "follow ups"
Disagree even as an affiliate, you capture the email addresses 1st and then send follow up emails selling the affiliate product
If you have many products...then I am not sure how effective it will be...Its like taking a shot in the dark, while riding a horse, hoping you hit the target you are aiming for...I know when I opt into a mailing list, it does not take long for me to opt-out as my box just fills up more.... I guess it will not hurt to try, and send something out like once per month, but when someone comes to my site, I have quite a few products, so in my case, I just do not feel it would be that effective, it could be hit and miss, and I think it will be more miss then hit... I guess I could also look at this at another way; When people get emails from you on a regular basis, then they come back, and maybe start trusting you more...
Be it selling your own products or affiliate products, you should always capture your list because you want to build a LIST of followers/subscribers in that NICHE. For email marketing, the idea is not just to spam your subscribers with a list of products that you are promoting. It is about building your name as an authority and showcase your in-depth knowledge of the subject. From there you can build trust and the sales will come automatically to you.
I wouldn't go into paid advertising if I were you, that's a sure way to loose money if you don't know exactly what you are doing, try what the other people above said first.
It is true. Don't try until you have a system (at least a basic one) in place to reap the benefits of the paid traffic. I once sent $50 worth of Pay-per-click (paid traffic) traffic to a Clickbank offer directly. No sales and got nothing out of it, not even a single subscriber. Best $50 spent for myself. Hoping this will not happen to any of you.
The easy solution is reviewing different products and advertising the reviews. You have to try until you find a good combination where you get more than invested (so you have earnings).
Capturing your visitors contact information is really important, but I have seen more and more products on Clickbank that use your affiliate link even in the autoresponders for weeks so if you are too lazy for building your own list this is probably the next best thing.
