How to Find High Quality Sites for Guest Posts

    Hi,

I want to know how to find high quality sites for guest posts. Most of the legitimate sites simply ignore the guest post offers or don't reply to the emails.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Regards
    WM

It's not quite guest posting, but have you thought of posting on busy classifieds? Keep in mind, guest posting is frowned upon by Google and probably Bing and Yahoo too.

Guest posting is still very valid. It is the do-follow links that Google hates. So, as long as the guest post has no follow link ..then it is perfectly allright.

Spam is spam whether it's dofollow or nofollow. The algo updates don't just fight dofollow links per se, they try to curtail the amount of blog commenting spam period.

If you do a bunch of guest posting on a bunch of spammy blogs it's just as good as not doing guest posting at all.

Check out this page, if you really want to know what the big G thinks of guest posting:

Especially watch the video under "And then in this video that we posted last month, even the question itself predicted that Google would take stronger action and asked about guest blogging as spam".

I just watched Matt's video and read his blog on that issue a few days ago, myself.

Matt makes it very, very clear that guest posting as an SEO strategy is about to be about as dead as blog commenting.

You'd be in a better position to work with a blog network, than to go that direction.

The best way to find blogs to guest post on is very simple. Do a google search of the keywords you are going after. Contact the blogs that rank on the first page for those keywords. Before you are done, you should have a minimum of 25 blogs to guest post on or at least contact.

Also, remember to keep the email short. Time is money and most people these days have very little time.

guest posting is not good anymore today. Anyway, I think that guest posting with nofollow links could be still accepted, what are your thoughts about this?

Guest blogging the proper and respectful way can still get traffic to your site and that is the only reason you should do it now. Only guest post if your link is no-follow to avoid any problems with Google. It won't help your rankings but if it's no-follow then it won't hurt them either.

anyway, you can showcase your skills as writer, have an audience, find new fans, friends and this will result also in some traffic for your homepage.

Try some of the bigger news blog sites such as Huffington Post or Forbes. They take free, well-written posts.
