Blackhat or Not?

    I'm looking at selling for a SEO company. They say they are not blackhat, but how can you tell if they are or not?

    If They are giving you rapid results and higher rankings within days. I am pretty sure they re doing something wrong.

    Thanks! They say it could take a couple week to a couple of months, does that sound normal? They say they have an automated system, charge $499 and they say they do it locally. They say "locally" but at the same time say I can do it wherever in the states.

    Google does everything to punish those "automated systems". Most of these tricks are considered blackhat now, you can receive your rankings increase and traffic flow, pay your money, and get banned in two months. Does the company take any responsibility?

    Generally the "If it sounds good to be true, it is" rule definitely applies to SEO. SEO rankings does not happen in a few days.
