In your opinion, is it better for an url to end with a trailing slash or with an .html or .php extension? I mean, which is better for indexing www.mysite.com/A-Second-Life-for-Your-Ad-Campaigns/ or www.mysite.com/A-Second-Life-for-Your-Ad-Campaigns.htm Please discuss
1) I would use all lowercase 2) I've been using .html in the end.. But I see many people ending in / ... I think it's up to you
using slash, means, Your website wont work when user types the url without slash, So.,, you must 301 redirect domain.com/1 to domain.com/1/
That's not true. I don't redirect my domain.com/ and it works fine with or without the slash. I don't think it makes much difference whether or not to use the slash, but since using it doesn't hurt and can help in some situations, I would use it...
Yes, it does not really matter. I guess "HTM"/"HTML" extensions are stripped in the evaluation process.
www.mysite.com/A-Second-Life-for-Your-Ad-Campaigns/ and www.mysite.com/A-Second-Life-for-Your-Ad-Campaigns are different url's It's best, for inbound links reasons, to use: www.mysite.com/A-Second-Life-for-Your-Ad-Campaigns.html or something of the sort (as to avoid canonicalization issues) all things being equal though, there is no difference for seo reasons (other than above).
