Selling Web Hosting forum for sale

I may be interested in selling my forum WebHostRally.com I have lost interest in it and would like to see it built to what it could be.

It's a great forum with 3 paid themes and runs on Xenforo. The license is not included due to it being expired and non-transferable. But, If you would like I can let you use it for the time being as it wont be used.

It has been around for quite some time but I really have not had the time to build on it and make it into something great. It does however get good traffic but needs someone who has time and knowledge to get members posting and the activity up.
The Alexa Ranking is 454,256 and in the UK its 48,101. Its PR1 and shows for searches in google.

I would like to get a few offers on the table but do have a price in mind. Traffic stats available upon request.

 

Only the ads I have sold which are in the sidebar, footer and above the content.
HostBlizzard and VPSTitan paid $150/year for both
Schnellno paid $75 for 3 months
imaginelayer $25/3 months

But these are simple ads

 

Whoever buys the site, is it mandatory for them to keep the ads you previously negotiated to put on there?

 

no you will not have to keep the ads

You could try, I gave them a set price. But after the term ends you can up the price.

 

After many offers and discussions with various people. I have decided I will keep the forum and build it. I did get a few offers that I liked but this forum is my place on the net and after talking about development I can see that people would destroy it. I put to much time and money into it for anyone to destroy what I have worked on.

I see that you're not selling the site anymore. I was very interested on the domain name (and eventually I would keep the forum on a subdomain). Unfortunately, your asking price is too high, considering the current revenue minus the running costs (hosting, script license).

However, as you've decided to keep the site, I would be interested on a text link (dofollow) on the homepage of your forum (sidebar preferred). How much would it cost?

Yes I have sold the advertisement on the forum you see. THose are paid ads not affiliates, not google adsense.

 

How about the traffic? (you say good traffic), but I don't see any # in your listing?

 

Thats because I am not selling anymore...... its marked sold.

 

I'm guessing you ended up selling it then? As it appears to be merged with another forum
