How to increase traffic in my dating site?

I am running a dating site for more than three months. Its not working on my way. I want to increase traffic in my site. I try simple SEO but its not enough to get traffic. So what do you think?

 

There are few ways to get these traffic:
1. Social Traffic
Promote in Facebook Group's , Create Pins, Tweet about it, Create youtube Videos about.
2. Adult Traffic
Download some "free" Porn and upload it with a link to your site on Porn sites.
3. SEO, Quite hard to get traffic for these related keywords, so I wouldn't stick to hard on it.
4. Adwords / Bing Ads / Facebook Ads
Create some ads and hope they convert well.
5. Mobile Marketing
Create some Apps with ads for it in the App.

Try http://www.backpage.com/ . You can post links to your site in their Services category. Don't overdo it though. Just hit all the major cities and you'll get some traffic.

Having a successful a dating site is not easy. With thousands of other dating sites out there, you need the best strategy.

I have new website with a capability to meet people, but my whole site theme is not emphasized on "dating". I think a lot of people are just hesitant to join dating sites. So it's gonna be difficult to be successful on this arena. Not to mention, there are so many popular free dating sites such as OkCupid and POF. Your site have to be unique to set it apart.

And this is the reason why I didn't built a dating website, but a social media site where people can meet... well... "socially". I noticed a lot of people on Facebook wants to meet strangers, but Facebook's privacy made it hard. So I built a more open social media site. My site have contents of not just peoples profiles... but also varieties of articles about people's interests. So this is one thing you can do too. Target people's interests.

And my strategy works. In the span of 2 months, my traffic shoot from 100 to 4,000 daily users (4,000% traffic growth within 2 months!) with 100 average daily signups. Check out my chart. But of course a lot of this traffic is due to my SEO strategy that I learned through the years. It's more on the technical side (e.g.: page content structure, url, internal links, ad placement, etc.). I developed my site from scratch. Try Facebook marketing, What's app, Google circle for your website promotion. These are sites where youngsters come for dating or flirting, chances are high that people get registered in your site.

 

Why not social media? Especially Facebook. There is 1 billion people. A lot of single men / women are looking for women / men for dating.

 

Promote it on facebook. If possible try to use sponsered advertisements.

 

For a dating site, it's not easy to get lot of traffic from organic search. There're so many established dating sites out there.
1) Social media (Facebook better) is a good source for instant free traffic. It takes a while to build a large fan/audience base, so a better option is to join social sharing communities to reach more followers.
2) Forum posting could drive large amount of free and instant traffic. There're lot of forums related to dating and relationship. just find the right forums, and join the right conversations at the right time with content you can relate to the audience.

I thought about creating a dating site. My strategy would have been to make it fun, though. Far too many of these sites are serious.

 

If you have the money to spend, I would use a mix of paid advertising.

The one that would be the most successful would be advertising on CPA networks. Offer $X amount per user that registers on your site. If you do it right and with a good CPA network, CPA guys will drive traffic to you like no tomorrow!

 

For easy navigation, you should create a toolbar with links that are easy to navigate and position the toolbar in an area that makes sense. Web users often look for the toolbar across the top or down the left the left hand side of the page. You shouldn’t forget a link to your homepage. It’s often forgotten but very important to point your users to your homepage. Also try SEOclerks, many freelancers on this site provide traffic at a cheap rate.

 

Have you considered advertising using Plenty of Fish (POF)? I know that it is a dating site in itself but think about it, these same people are the ones you're looking for to be your websites visitors!

Almost nothing gets done with simple SEO nowadays. With a dating site you might want to consider doing the following:

1. Create a fan page in facebook about dating. Then create a 'like' campaign with your copy going like 'Like dating? Like us'. Like campaigns don't cost a lot as long as your using optimized CPM. In fact a budget of $5 is enouigh to get you thousans of likes.

Once they get to like your page, you can now post status updates through different times within the day (to mazimize reach) directing them to your website. It's a win win situation since you now have a fan page that you can promote CPA offers with, plus a website getting traffic.

2. Another things you should consider is advertising using Plenty of Fish (POF)? I know that it is a dating site in itself but think about it, you can use your competitor as an advantage. These same people are the ones you're looking for to be your websites visitors!

to start you need to use adwords, facbeook page and twitter. I have done gone through this for long time and it is not easy to promote your dating site with so much competition

 

You need to rely on social media marketing as well. Try promoting your site on popular networks such as Instagram and TikTok, which are based on kore young people which can be better prospects of your website.

 

Maybe try to search all forums related to dating ,seduction etc .Then start beying active in these forums ,help people who have problems ,ask inteligent questions etc .In the signature put your link back to your website ,its important to not put it first time as you will be seen as a spamer .Answer like 30-50 questions and after that put the link on signature .The advantage with this its you are close to your audience ,you will find what problems they have ,what they need etc .You will also find ideas on what to write on your site

 

You need to advertise your website in some cool systems out there for all possible ways, like Exoclick, Traffic Junky, Traffic Stars and so on and on and on anyway. Let's move on with that after you start and will show us results of your tries.
