Hello all friends, I am planning to start an e-store for my products. I am familiar with wordpress interface and thinking of creating my store in woocommerce. I haven't seen much sites in woocommerce and so I am a bit doubtful about its performance. I want your opinions and views about this matter. Should i go for woocommerce for my e-store or should opt some other platform?
I started my website using woocommerce. I found it to be slightly cumbersome because it is so restricted in the manner by which it presents the items you are selling. I believe that there has to be other options that are more efficient. I honestly just don't know myself.
I'd say go for it, especially as you are already familiar with WordPress. Most of the things are pretty self-explanatory and you can modify them easily. This way you don't have to start all the way from the bottom of the learning curve and can focus on building the shop.
We are talking about WooCommerce, not a standard WordPress, right? For WooCommerce you can check these as a good example: http://altmkt.co.uk/ http://store.hypebeast.com/
Hi, Woo-commerce is best suited for the basic ones or those who are unsure on programming. It is based on wordpress functions and are user-friendly for most albeit having lesser features. The more advanced ones are Magento and Shopify, both needed programming knowledge to configure. Good Day, Commoner
WooCommerce is really awesome, you could have a complete e-store out of this, but again it depends on your products. For software or digital downloads, I would suggest easy digital downloads plugin. Its a very easy to use plugin with all functionalities.
Woocommerce is the best for creating an e-commerce stores. It is a free open source plugins of the wordpress that allows to sell and purchase the products.By using it you can create unique e-commerce online stores.
Yes, woocommerce is indeed a useful beginner tool If you have programming knowledge, it be good to use Presta or Opencart
you should try custom ecommerce script other then ready made modules. By this you can add new features anytime in future or change the existing one also. you can find the cheepest one with Uniquescriptz.com or just follow the link http://www.uniquescriptz.com/ecommerce-script/
WooCommerce is great, but the "which shopping cart platform" question almost ALWAYS depends on factors like your specific needs and your skill level with coding/programming. When it comes to comparable solutions, 3dCart and Bigcommerce are two of the most popular out-of-the-box options. They're both hosted, so you don't have to worry about that, and they both come with a ton of great themes. What's more is that a bunch of them are mobile-responsive right out of the box. This is huge, considering how big mobile eCommerce is getting. It's also really important when it comes to getting your webstore ranking high in Google's search results.
WooCommerce is really user-friendly should one be unsure on coding. However, there are certain limitations which needed to be resolved hence migration to another good eCommerce is necessary upon learning some fundamentals in coding.
I use WooCommerce for my E-Commerce store. Its user friendly and really easy to use for newbies. Check out my store here: http://sgfloorplans.com
One of the best ways, as it turns out, to find out which shopping cart will most comprehensively suit your eCommerce needs is to check out reviews from sellers who are looking to solve the same problems you're trying to solve. I'd start by visiting sites like TameBay, WebRetailer, InternetRetialer, Moblized...there are others, too. These sites have pretty comprehensive databases of eCommerce software and solution offerings. By searching through reviews for keywords that are relevant to your issues, you'll be likely to find consumers talking about the same issues that you're dealing with. Hope this helps!
