Main source of traffic is Google, YouTube, referring sites, and some SE traffic from Bing and other search engines.

Sales exploded in late 2012/early 2013 because a press release I submitted on sbwire.com hit #1 in Google for the terms "herpes cure", "natural herpes cure", and "get rid of herpes". The press release has since been taken down by sbwire, but you can check that it did exist at one point by searching "/press-releases/natural-herpes-cure-to-get-rid-of-herpes-permanently-183936.htm" in Google. Also, at that point in time, naturalherpescure.net was ranking on the first page of Google for "natural herpes cure".

I kept hiring people on fiverr.com to build backlinks to my press release to maintain its top ranking in Google. I was able to keep a top 3 position for a good number of months and managed to stay on the first page of Google for these search terms until around late 2013. Since then, competition became really fierce and I would only invest in backlinks every now and then.

Website promotes the "Get Rid of Herpes" (#1 selling herpes eBook) product on Clickbank which pays an average of $24.92 commission per sale.

Reason for sale:

I have a Clickbank product of my own that I've neglected over the past year and a half due to studies and focusing on affiliate sites. Would like to offload some of my sites so I can focus on my Clickbank product now that I have more time on my hands, and use the funds from these sales to invest in marketing/promotion of my CB product.

I do believe this site still has the potential to earn as much as it used to, if you can invest time and money into a solid link building strategy to get the site ranking highly again. The landing page already converts well enough, you only need to figure out how to bring in more organic traffic. I'm actually pretty clueless when it comes to building backlinks and proper SEO (I just bought whatever link building gigs I thought looked good on Fiverr.com), so someone with a bit of actual know-how on SEO/link building will definitely be able to propel this site to earn more.
