The backlinks came with the domain. Also, the DA/PA and Pagerank are valid.

Just curious, what does "backlinks came with the domain" mean, exactly? tmean is correct - right now 99% of the backlinks are no follow spam. There are no backlinks that would in any way support this domain as being a PR5. It's probably really a PR0 or PR1. PageRank may be "valid" by Page Rank checkers, but those simply read the Google toolbar PR, which hasn't been updated for many months. Also, if you enter the domain name at a site like domaincrawler dot com, you'll see the PR history shows the PR jumped from PR0 to PR5 in one shot - never a good sign of a "natural" rise in PR.

Believe me, I don't point these things out for fun - I used to buy plenty of domains from digital point. I keep looking for true, valid, PR domains, but there are very few of them offered on this site any more. I've settled on trying to find decent PR3s, and there aren't even many of those.

Just verify archive.org and see if there is a redirect. There is NOT a redirect on PR. Also, everyone here knows that google toolbar hasn't updated in a while.

Domain sold, right. Probably a smart move to just give up and mark it as "sold."

Instead of trying to explain how this huge jump in PR happened in a "natural" way:
