Everyone has some goals for something to achieve. Most common that the question are asked for a year, a new year resolution. But instead make it a monthly resolution. Maybe that will help you to actually achieve the goal easier because usually when making goals for a year can be easily forgotten but if doing for month it can be pressured especially the deadline is sooner so it should encourage you to accomplish the goals of yours. What would be your May goals? Or should I say May resolution? Mine for May resolution: More backlinks for my website. Save at least 20% of monthly spending budget. Clean my bed room and replace few furniture. More blog posts, two or three daily. Spend more time with my mother. Now I would like to hear yours, and after the month of May I will come back here and post my result whether if I accomplish all of what I have accomplished and haven't. This could be a bit fun.
I have a lot exams in May, 2014 and that's why my goal is to - 1. Study 2. Make Notes 3. Managing & promoting my social networking site I'll start blogging and heavy promotion of the site from June,2014. For this month I could rely only upon some social media sharing and buying few solo ads.
1. Double my advertising efforts (Spend more $$ on paid advertising, utilize twitter and g+ more effectively). 2. Attend an IM related conference somewhere nearby. (Never been to one). 3. Take a trip to Ohio (Used to live there). 4. Spend more time with my family (Should probably be the #1 goal).
Wish you both the best of luck and every one else who may post in here. Hopefully we can achieve them, be reminded to come back here after the month of May and post the result. Looking forward to these results.
Haha she does! When she comes over my house she would give me lecture about being messy that I made in my house and as well my bed room. But it's not messy though, only the issue I have is that the furniture needs to be replaced. Some furniture that I bought and never used, for example a couch in my bed room that I will be replacing it with a tablet or some sort that I can actually use.
I'd say it's pretty simple for me (and yet not easy to achieve) 1. get my business back on the track - there were some minor setbacks 2. budget really carefully, as we need to save more money 3. work more organized (less time to work, so I need to be very effective) 4. try to build my premium themes portfolio and get some residual income going on from it.
My goal for this month is rank my site from below 100 in SERP. One step at the time! Goodluck to all of us!
In May I am looking forward to improve my newly launched business. I have faced a big business loss in February and started new business from scratch in March. Now trying myself to devote myself in making my business successful and to live my life according to Islam.
I have just leased a shop so need to fit it out by the end of May and get it open in June. I also have to build a web site for it so it could be a hectic month.
1. Get the core of my new inside and outside sales teams up and running so that I can stop the two hour commute (each way) to the office Monday - Thursday. 2. Get all of the Spring projects done around the house.
That was my "stretch" goal for May...fortunately, Spring does not end until June 21, so I have a fallback timeline. Of course, come that date, some of these tasks could be redefined as summer chores. That way, I have stuck to plan and my wife should not complain...
I think if you have a written in goals that it should help you easier to reach some of your goals. As goes for mine. More backlinks for my website. Save at least 20% of monthly spending budget. Clean my bed room and replace few furniture. More blog posts, two or three daily. Spend more time with my mother. I am getting backlinks for my website (in fact, more than I thought I'd be getting), cleaned half of my bedroom so far (spring cleaning), been following on writing 2-3 blog posts daily, well almost. More so 2 daily but hopefully I can make up for the 3rd one of daily somehow. Spending more time with my mother as well, although not as much as I was planned on to.
