Probably you should try some CPA or affiliate networks if you have specified niche. Sells can give more profits than clicks. Offcourse there is no such thing as "the best ad network" because in each case profits looks different :) If you look for something like Adsense you won't find anything better.

what will work for you that depends on lot of factor such as CPA may not do very good if your traffic not much or not from European countries and you may do good in CPM for almost every country but you will need a lot of traffic to earn something, if you have really good traffic, I would suggest you to contact network personally after signup and try to get premium accounts

You should figure out why Adsense rejected your website. If Google doesn't approve of you, then there's a chance that other ad networks might do the same.

Not necessarily others network may reject though it reduces possibility of getting higher cpm rate since now a days almost every network shows mostly google ads

I like BuySellAds .. have used it in the past. Now I also focus on getting my own advertising clients, since it means no commission is being paid :D

They will never tell you why you are rejected, and they will never tell you why you are banned. 2 main rules when it comes to google...

    1. Clean, Brandsafe site (certain categories do not qualify for brand safe, warez, hacking (usually) or anything suggesting or supporting illegal activities, violence, etc

    2. Legit traffic.

These are the same really with a lot of networks. Google is just far more strict and there is usually something someone didn't read in their excessively long TOS, or they asked a question and didn't get a response from their support team who just copy and past clips from their documentation and send it to you.

most networks don't actually show google ads, you have to go through an extremely extensive compliance process to show google ads on a network and if you do - those urls you run ads on will have to be continually monitored and will still need to NOT be blacklisted or banned by google in the past. What does occur though, is a lot of the same technologies and companies which programmatically buy from Google AdX also programmatically buy from other exchanges like AppNexus so a lot of networks powered by AppNexus if the network is partnered with the company who does the buying you will see very similar ads. Also retargeting makes it almost impossible to "look" at and ad, and say "oh thats a google ad" unless its actually a google link based creative.

I'm aware of the Google policy of not explaining their choices. Been rejected by Google News so many times, and I've yet to figure out why.

Whats crazy is, most employees and account managers at google don't even know why accounts get rejected. Apparently compliance is sworn to secrecy.

I wished they would just tell us, so that I can make modifications to comply with their standards. I'm sure Google News brings a ton of traffic.

Yeah, they really should, it would do a great service to the web master community and really help clean up a lot of what goes on. most people violate their TOS and other network terms because they just don't know not to do something. If there was a network out there educating people on this, it would be less of a problem and google would make more money, and wouldn't have to ban half the world.

There are many networks emerged as an alternative to Google, because of the difficult selection processes and the various problems that Google creates. You can try to work with us and can check out other companies like CPX and CREAFI.
