How many articles does a writer normally writes in a day??

Sorry but they are not paid very well at all. And a good article does take a lot more than two days. Look at some New Yorker cover stories, they took months, sometimes years. And that's also why a lot of newspapers can't afford their businesses at all and rely on charitable buyers.

 

Depending on the length, subject matter, and the mood I'm in I can write anywhere between 2 or 10 articles a day. If, by any chance, the articles don't require me to do a lot of research, I can even do 15.

 

I usually complete a good piece (500 words) in 2 - 5 hours depending on the number of words

 

Same with me, pretty much. Concentration and the absence of distractions are important.

 

5 to 7 minimum, if he/she is in good mood.

 

It depends on the articles. How many words are they? How much research is involved? What do they assume their readers already know and what don't they know?

Writing a good article is a whole lot more involved than scribbling down some thoughts and ramblings in a coherent manner. Sometimes, I'm able to write quite a few articles in the time I have, and other times I find myself putting a lot of work into only a few articles.

 

I can write an 500 word article within 30-40 min, if it is my preferable topic but when you need to write on other topics, proper research is necessary. on that topic, i have to search useful articles on high authority sites like ezine and then i will finish my writing with compilation of all the useful information i got as a reference for article.

 

A professional writer can come up with 6-8 high quality articles of 550-600 words each per day.
