Hi, Can you share some thoughts on how to win back old clients? I do have their email lists and contact details but I want other ideas on how to approach them again and offer my new products. Thanks.
Why don't you contact your old clients via phone? I think they will appreciate a little conversation and then right after that you can make a follow up email but make sure that you let them know about it. If they like it they will respond to you but if not its okay just don't try to be annoying.
Prepare a special deal for them, as they are your loyal clients. When contacting your clients, mention what type of product/service they bought in the past, so they can feel your individual approach.
Engage them in a different way from your normal interactions. One good way is to highlight them the next time when you send out a personalized email message...
Depends on the product or service you offer. It might be something fom 'long time no see' email to a special campaign\offer.
Hi Aaron, if you have a list of olds clients, and if I suppose I was one of them, to reconquer me you need to reserve a very VERY big deal for my business, which I can't reject. Sure, you can contact them via email, but consider also a phone call if the client was very old: a phone call, can be better to warm up a new professional partnership.
I think the best way would be to find out why they left in the first place. Improve upon that, let them know about the improvements and give them an additional incentive to come back. You win in all instances. Feedback plus a returning customer.
I like this approach as it is the most personable experience your ex clients will enjoy. Don't forget to mention how amazing of a job you did for them and work with them on a new strategy that solves their current solutions.
I think you should think about what you did wrong to lose your former clients and focus on what you can do to get them back. Then, ask them what you can do to correct any problems you can do for them, with the knowledge that you can fix any concerns that they may have.
