What is your best SEO secret to rank quickly in google?

To be honest, I use reliable freelancing sites like SEOClerks for that. I buy high quality articles there and few sellers offer good backlink packages. With their help I am able to rank my site high in a very short time.

 

It's hard to fault someone for that. I have to manually approve my comments. In the last couple of months I've only let two make it onto the site. During that same time period I deleted over 300,000 spam comments from Chinese bots (some French, Russian, Ukrainian, but the overwhelming majority were Chinese).

Additionally it was my fault because I did not actually switch them on in the first place, actually thankful that @Sharmeen told me because it could have been weeks before I noticed

I use Joomla. I'm not sure what happened in March to make me so popular with those bots. It took me nearly two weeks to work through it all. I banned many thousands of IP addresses as I went through them. It was to the point that if it was a Chinese bot I would go ahead and just ban the entire IP range. Thankfully I seem to be in the clear on that. I still have some traffic coming in from IPs that I see listed on StopForumSpam, but at least they aren't doing mass comments.

 

@Foxxy have you installed this joomla extension to help prevent spam bot attacks? Just a thought. I used to use joomla and loved it and ever since I moved to wordpress I have been smashed with spam bots but a simple plugin helped out a lot and I know that Joomla has similar if not better extensions available

I haven't used it before, but I have looked at it a few times in the past. I like the fact that it checks against other spam directories to see if the IP address is dirty. So far I haven't used it because the more plugins you install the slower joomla loads (assuming this is also true with WP but I don't know), so I try to limit my extensions. But another hit like that last one and I'll have no choice.

 

haha yeah its the same with wordpress, but you can install an extension to increase loads speeds.

Btw if you have spambots attacking your website then they use your bandwidth and also google sees them as bounces off your website which in turn could reduce your rankings in search engines.

 

Touching back on your original topic, I try to simply provide a good flow of new, unique articles. I try to go no less than 5/week that I write myself, and I get others to write whenever I can. On the ones I write myself, I try to always include:

- keyword mentioned in title
- keyword mentioned in meta description
- keyword mentioned a few times in article body

I don't know that this really counts as "SEO", but I think it helps, and I hope also helps with my internal site search.

I never thought about the ranking aspect, but I know all too well what they do to the performance. In my case, the 300k comments depleted my available mysql connections, so for a while real people who visited the site were getting an error 500 due to the bot traffic.

 

I found that the less I focus on SEO, as in meta descriptions and keywords the more ranking I get and I am all SEO. I just optimized my websites and then write and add pictures and video's works a charm

@KonRadicool probably due to fact, that when you focus on meta desc etc, you probably overoptimize it, and google just starts to ignore it

 

That could be true, but then again it could be because I decided to overlook the seo and actually focus on better Articles which got people to jump from one page to another reducing the bounce rate and increasing interaction. I think that SEO plays an important part in websites but when you focus on it to much, making sure that you have the right amount of keywords you stray away from what is really important and that is your clients or people who visit the website. Focus on them and you will begin to see results. Just my thought

 

best force to pull up any website is backlinks high pr backlinks are more important so get high pr forum and blogposts to get backlinks if u want to spent money then go to ppc sites.

 

Not in the sense of finding faults, actually I had some queries related to the contents on his blog.
