PPI VS CPA

Hello Friends,

I want to know that which Affiliate program is better?

PPI or CPA

PPI : Pay per install

CPA : Cost per action

 

It depends how you use it, what is your user base.

If you are SW developer creating free apps than PPI is the best for you... you just bundle EXE with your SW and make money from each install.

If you are using content lockers than some users are more comfortable to fill short survey and some rather download and install app... as install app takes less time than user would prefer this.

if you would have normal banner in your website than I would say CPA might make more money as you can target it better.

 

Learn about these 3 & what is easy & better for you. If you cant promote perfectly nothing will be good for you. It totally depends on you. Every thing will be good if you can promote them perfectly. So discover your self what is suitable for you.

But PPD & PPI are mostly same. PPD & PPI payout is lower that CPA. Though they are the sub category of CPA. If you do CPA you can earn huge than PPD & PPI.

 

CPA is safe for your visitors. PPI is little risky because of problems with this niche. Remember that you have to adjust CPA ads for your audience to get results.

 

that would depend on the quality of your traffic. if your traffic is from the US or Canada then it will be better to use CPA since they yield better profit. if your traffic comes from other countries then i think ppi is the best way to go.

 

Had an experience with distribution of a game browser (a desktop app packed with casual games). The devs worked with both PPI and CPA. Both were good, but the very installation was not enough for the devs, as they needed active users (registered users). So, CPA (in this case, pay per every unique registration) was definitely more cost effective.

PPI definitely rules if you are monetizing software.
If you're a webmaster, CPA might be best.
There are quite a few parameters by which the optimal solution for a business can be found. So, no universal answer.

 

Ppi rates will be lower than cpa.but ppi + YouTube converts well.

 

PPI will decline with the increasing popularity of your website... Most install a Toolbar or software on visitors Browser and gets restricted by Browser Monitoring Tools while CPA has little impact as they collect information about the visitor and repeated customers comes for getting more content from your site.

ppi offer more highest rates for US, UK or Canada, but if you not have file's traffic just forget about ppi.

It depends on your traffic type. Also EXE file matters (if you're doing PPI), some networks have high rates, but very low ratio (due to false positive AV warnings, blacklisted domains etc.)

 

I would always recommend CPA instead of PPI.

 

As other have said in this thread, PPI has quite a bad reputation. Advertising365 have loads of brands paying CPA with a max of $300.

 

it really depends on how and where you are going to promote it. in general speaking, you may earn more with pay per install if you have more international traffic.
