How did you spend your first $1 you made online

Just wanted to find out how all of you celebrated making your first $1 online. The day I made $1 I purchased a bottle of wine for $15 to celebrate. Probably not the wisest idea but it was very much well earned :)

I spent the money on advertising so I can bring even more people to my website.

That actually makes more sense then buy a bottle of wine :), how is your website doing? is there any hardships you had to overcome to begin earning more money online?

My website is doing pretty well. It is still fairly new (around 4 months old) and not really making any income as I am spending all of the ad revenue on more advertising to build some brand awareness. It is also in a pretty competitive niche (flash games).

Yeah, spending a dollar on advertising is smart. But then again, buying a bottle of wine sounds like more fun. :) Too bad you can't get a bottle for a dollar.

I bought one of my first domains (it was a cheap offer at GoDaddy, I believe). :)

A bottle of wine is ALWAYS a wise idea :D
Anyway when I had my first money from my website, I made a 1€ Paypal donation to a webradio I often listen to while working...

I dont remember how I spent my first dollar.. but i did frame the checkstub from my first Adsense payout and when I had my first $14k month (took about 2 years) I went out and bought a new Jaguar :)
    Does that count?

I think it definitely counts. How did you manage to make $14k in a month and do you focus on website creation or other online money making opportunities?

I definitely didn't spend my first dollar made. I don't see why you would spend it lol

No? You had to have spent it eventually. Or where did you save it?

my $14k month was from advertising sales, private-membership sales, and ebook sales.. i focus on website creation.. that (free) ebook mentioned in my signature below talks all about how my first website was generating a few thousand a month after just a few months of going online.

Is Flash gaming still lucrative? It seems like the niche has taken a major hit due to the mobile market and Steam Greenlight.
