Need some advice for increasing PR

    Hi All,

    I first launched my link directory www.links-to-us.com in may it is now december and I have a lousy pr1 I see other directories launch after mine and their pr is way up there. can anyone please give me some advice to what i need to do to improve I am really starting to bug out on the no pr thing.

    PR is 100% determined by backlinks to your site. Each page linking to you can pass 85% of its PR, but that PR gets divided between the number of outgoing links i.e. a PR5 page with 20 outgoing links passes 1/20th the PR than a page with only 1 link. A PR3 link can pass more PR than a PR6 link (if the PR6 site has a zillion links on it).

    Yep,

    Some links in DP have no-follow but sig links don't. Therefore, they are of value. I have a tool that automatically highlights no-follow links on every page I load. It's brilliant.

    It's an awesome tool. Been using it a long time. It also shows Alexa, which is nice, cause there's no Alexa toolbar for Firefox.

    1. How much outbound links are reccomended on each page?
    2. Does the PR of the outbound links effect our own PR?
