Does anybody here have experience with credit card affiliate sales? I'm looking to possibly start an affiliate site for credit cards, but wanted to talk to some people with experience first. What is the industry like? How hard is it to get going in this industry? Thanks.
anything finance related is competitive. unless you know what you're doing and/or have a unique strategy of promotion you'll probably do better with something less competitive. I've done it. it works, it pays well, but it's hard as well.
Amen to disgust.... I currently run a credit card site - http://getcredit365.com I'm hell bent on making it with the amount of time and effort (lets not forget money either) I've put into it. The competition is extremely stiff, expect to be tossed into the sandbox for google. Hell, my site isnt even indexed by google after 3+ months. Trying to run any sort of PPC campaign is terrible unless you have alot of capital as clicks for anything resembling a word are $3.50+ a click. Im not trying to discourage you but honestly, you need to realize how much work a site like this really is. If it were me and I knew what I know now, I would have stayed away and used my time and money on something else.
Here's my two cents. Pros: • Good pay Cons: • Tough competition • Requires lots of time and money
We offer a top-performing affiliate program as well as co-branded sites for credit cards. See the cobranding program where you just put a few lines of code on your site and "ready-to-go": http://www.credit-land.com/1003/1003_page_4249_47875.php Here is the link to the affiliate program: http://www.credit-land.com/1003/1003_page_12779_23252.php Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Thank you for the recognition. I think the critical role we do is sort things out. We pretest all merchant programs and run only the ones that convert well with a good payout. In essence it's similar to what Google does with their AdWords -- if the ads are not clicked on and the bid is low, they are dropped. This is pretty much what we do for our affiliates. We run only the top-performing merchant programs for credit cards. Many of our affiliates do well with the free credit report offers that we offer as well.
I've done well with NCS, but I don't rely on sales exclusively for my site. I also use my site as a place to feature some of the personal finance articles I have written, so I offer more than just a bunch of credit card offers. I get some nice revenue from AdSense too. You can find my site by clicking on the appropriate mention in my signature.
Cardoffers was so nice to reject my sites, but offered to let me BUY one of their pre built sites. Hmmmm
Gary, that is a nice setup for credit card offers. I think I am going to give a Acclaim a try to see how everything goes. Very Nice!
Thank you for the compliments. We offer a variety of options for affiliates to fit your needs. You know best what works for your site -- we just offer the tools to make your life easier and more profitable! We have 2 programs: (1) Affiliate program - credit cards, credit reports, other financial products (2) Co-branded Partner program -- you choose a design for your co-branded site and customize it to look and feel like it's your site with your logo, etc. Requires really no work. What you get is everything competing programs offer but at no cost. Plus you get great conversions, great commissions and top-notch, tested offers.
anyone who does well with credit card affiliations willing to try promoting credit card debt help? So far I have had some good feedback. Thank you all.
There are a lot of programs for credit cards and choosing among them can get complicated. I suggest testing credit-land.com programs against others such as commission soup, NCS and cardoffers. Good feedback from affiliates suggests that Credit-Land.com programs offer a few benefits over others: 1. Choice of affiliate program or free co-branded sites 2. Availability of free product feed 3. Optimized landing pages that result in highest EPC from each visitor. 4. Higher overall ROI due to optimized landing pages and conversions
hi its hard to find the best credit card affiliates this site is really good helped me loads http://www.lowrateinterestcards.com
I have a good Visa credit card domain averaging 200 uniques per day, it peaked yesterday at 850 visitors according to Google Analytics. Visitor stats for past month: Referring Sites 5,558 (84.33%) Direct Traffic 1,025 (15.55%) Search Engines 8 (0.12%) Total: 6,591 Visits It's currently monetized with AdSense with around 11% CTR - can anyone suggest a better solution than AdSense - if so what revenue can I expect. Thanks
