Have got the rankings on Google.com but not in Google.co.in why?

I am trying to get ranking for my keywords on google India but surprisingly got all the rankings in Google.com. What to do to get keywords ranking in Google India?

 

Do local SEO. Directories, forums, blogs, etc. It would be hard if the website is for another country and you try to get a good ranking for another, but if you are from India, you should know the most popular sites to get backlinks from!

 

See as of now I am trying to get backlinks from blog commenting is it ok?

you should go for local listing in google and also submit your site information in local classified websites... hope this will help you.

See guys what I gonna do is ,Now Ill try to get back-link from .in domain and will surely listed my URL's in to some classified as my friend said above hope this will help.

 

Set Geographical target into GWT then Add your Business into Google Place. Submit your Website into local directories, Social Bookmarking, Forums Discussion, Blogging, Add your Business into Local Business website..

 

Its good to have ranking in Google.com but now if you want to rank in google.co.in then local SEO, classified and co-citation is the best way. Keep in mind one thing when you promote your website always add your area/city/state/country before or after your targeted keywords. i.e. for promotion in .com you take keyword like "online shopping website" but now to target India you need to use new keyword like "online shopping website india/online shopping website gujarat/online shopping website ahmedabad" like this sure you will get success.

Another thing that google looks at is where your site is hosted. So if you host your site in India, that should help your rankings in with google.co.in

 

Get backlinks from India local directories and do social media optimization where you can get Indian traffic will help to come in Google.co.in
