Rules Did you know that you can change rules as you change socks?

Hi, I am back after two years! After being here 5 years giving a lot to the site with my modesty.

Now a complete newbie with no likes, I have lost the ability to put URLs.

What? Old leaders have just close the doors to veterans?

All your positive rep from the old system was converted to likes. If you have zero likes, it means you had zero positive rep from "back in the day".

I understand, and rep was positive, but that "convertor" does not take in account, that I got URLs privileges because of my posts, the rule in
first place. I believe the new rule is also ok, but for newcomers.

So, I earn my privileges by posts not by rep and belive me they were contributive.

It looks like the "convertor" (a computer) just take the control over the human trust in rules.

There was no human true leadership in applying it.

The underlying rule hasn't changed... Buy/Sell/Trade was always for contributing members only. The only change is we have a better measurement now. Before 25 posts could meant you were a good member, even if those 25 posts were crap (not saying yours are, just in general).

This is still not the point.

I earned that privileges with loyalty to the rules, I had them.

And privileges were removed without any loyalty, I have them no more.

You can change any rules you want, to whatever benefit you want,

but you can't measure loyalty if there ain't any.

Have I did something bad to not receive loyalty I trusted in via rules.

Don't get me wrong here, I still can't use earned privileges!

    Can I call this stealing?

I guess you can call it whatever you want... As far as "loyalty", if you were a loyal user, you would have noticed the changes almost a year and a half ago and talking about it back then. :)

Changing discusion with pinponging loyalty will not remove the evident fact, that EARNED was stilled.

How can you expect loyalty in future rules then.

So there is no trust in digital point, admit it.

What is EARNED is EARNED, is this not valid for you?

Huh? Being an established member isn't something you are rewarded, it's just a state of being. Event under the old system if someone made 25 posts, but they later fell under the 25 point threshold, their state of being an established member didn't stay in place. If it was some sort of earned reward, it would imply that it was perpetual from the instant you were "rewarded" it... and that has never been the case.

Young men, I have compassion for you, I didn't see balls or a pass to someone who have authority here.

Because who does not respect earned property cannot be respected.

I am not interested in history or philosophy, I believe you have learned it very well.

I want to see my property back as it was given by a trusty digital point and I earned it as many did.

If that cannot be done it means only dirty pants over community property and earnings.

Maybe I am 12, and you are right to move on.

But someone here does not respect its own constitution and integrity of making rules about giving earnings,

because he removes what he promised to the community that is the site life and earned in trust!

Is not up to me, I don't have to do anything, the mistake here is already obvious and wide

to all those in the community who have earned rights, and rights were taken.

Are there other earnings promised now? Well, they are really shaky.

You've spent a lot of time on this thread and really accomplished nothing. You could have spent this time contributing in a more helpful and productive way. You might even have gotten those 3 likes required by now. If your efforts produce no return then it is time to make adjustments.
Accept the status quo and utilize your time in a way that is profitable for you.

As I said is not up to me anymore.

I am giving my biggest contribution to the community right now.

By exposing the injustice to the honor of who have it.

And, I don't need likes on the soil of who take back

    promised earnings.

I don't want to know about your dirty pants, but this is Shawn's site so he can make whatever rules he wants and if we want to use the site we have to abide by it. Frankly speaking, three likes is a very low and simple requirement. It's much easier to become established now (one post that attracts the required number of likes and 48 hours) than before.

There is no God-given-right to be an established member here; we were - and are - all subject to the same requirements.

There are always choices - there are other forums and marketplaces; or you could actually make a tiny bit of effort to get three likes; or you could continue whining like you are.

You are right, there is no God-given-right, and he can do whatever he wants with people
that give him all the community living content.

And is beautiful that you defend someone no matter of the right or wrong, that is respectable.

Right and wrong are subjective (when looking at it from personal opinion). I just find it incredible your are so deeply hurt by something so inane as likes. Perhaps it's time for a few (or many) beers to drown your sorrows and then move forward with business?

Yes, guys thank you for taking care of me, after few serious whiskies the situation is even more clear.

I see that here a solution is needed, so:

I demand in the name of all the community and forums out there who respect the rules they make

that all the earnings taken are repristinated to all those seasoned or not who have with honesty earned

them by the forum promises under first rules.

I also demand public excuses to the community with an admission that an error was done and repaired.

He can still hide behind the story of the system fault or new rules.

Hence an act of really true courage is to be done.

And yes, an act of last misery can be also done by removing this thread and account and showing this way

that the only power he have is in pressing the mouse buttons, but he cannot ignore the truth.

Now, go, and make a promise to children's that you respect.

p.s. I don't know who made the decision of removing earnings as nothing was, so giving distrust to all
future earnings in the community, but all this is endorsed to him and to those who blindly but I believe
    in their heart protect him.

Are you using Google translate to make your posts, or are you completely pissed up? Nothing you have posted in this thread makes the slightest bit of sense, thanks for the laugh though, I needed cheering up.
