Selling $99 - Established Brandable Cooking Forum. Unique Design, Logo

I developed this forum for my wife and I as we love to cook but we just haven't been able to put as much time as this awesome site deserves into it.

Traffic and revenue are negligible. Only promoting I did was building a few backlinks for SEO purposes. The idea was to rank the site for "crock pot recipes" which is a substantial keyword in terms of traffic but I just don't have the time.

The ground works is done. This is a great looking site with some seed content (some paid, but most of it is real users passing by or my own writing).

Back in January I had some nice easy trickle traffic (50-60 u/v a day) going to it using auto-pinning software. The Pinterest.com/Crockpotable account is huge and can bring in a lot of traffic. You just have to keep pinning to it every week and scale the operation to bring in the exponential traffic -- and I didn't.

My loss, your gain. The xenforo license does not come with the sale for $99. However, make me a reasonable offer to include it and I'll throw it in.

How many members currently registered on the website? Are all the post on the website are by the members or are those paid?

Traffic is only 10 to 20 u/v a day. Consider it none.

As for revenue the site has only made $0.97 this month. Do you need a screenshot of that?

The traffic and revenue from last month (March) is skewed because the site got hit with some russian spam (which I deleted) and ranked HIGHLY in google.ru for about a week. It made $147.67 in adsense alone and nearly 60k visitors.



That has all died back down now and the site is ranking normally for long tail terms in google.com.

 

Only 40 of the 132 members are paid posters. They made less than 500 of the 1,450 posts. So yes there are a lot of real members on there. Even with the minimal traffic the site is pretty appealing and I get a few real signups per week.

The site sends an automated email every week with new threads to all members so it keeps them returning.

The license is valid and transferrable. It doesn't expire until the end of October.

 

Thanks would the buyer have to purchase another licence come October?

 

No. You can continue using the forum software for as long as you like -or- until there is an upgrade released that you want to download.

If you want to download upgrades after October you do not have to buy a full new license. You just extend this current one. The cost to extend it is only $40.
