What is your favorite traffic method in 2014

My favorite traffic method is paid traffic -- right now with Facebook ads. (I know a lot of people grumble about Facebook, but the targeting is awesome.)

Sure, you can get "free" traffic with SEO or blogging or other inbound methods, but the advantage of paid traffic is you can ramp it up or down anytime, and you can fine tune and control who sees your message a lot more carefully. Plus once you know an offer is converting, you can always buy more traffic to increase your profits.

 

I like paid traffic like "solo ads" I know is not that cheap but it Works.

 

I try to make value content and this way get returning visitors. Social media is also important but in my opinion not for traffic.

I think all the regular known methods are things you continue. Marketing is about using multiple channels. A single channel by itself is usually not going to be as effective as having multiple sources strategically working together. The combined efforts will be exponential in results vs. any one source individually.

Having said, two areas we are looking to add to complement all of our other efforts include:

1. Event Marketing. This is supported with Premium Press Releases, Social Media Marketing, Event Communities, the Event performed at multiple days and times during a month, and post event marketing with weekly newsletters.

2. Live Streaming (single situation) or Live Broadcast (consistent daily streaming at scheduled times). While YouTube now provides free streaming options, we plan on having our own media streaming server.

Social media and Seo is the best way to get traffic on your website. But its totally depends on your work.

 

2014 turns out to be more toughest and trickiest way to bring traffic to your website. But approaching and targeting the right audience will reflect much better results in your traffic analytic.

Yes, all promotional activities will boost your traffic. But genuine and relevant traffic will convert and gives you better results. Here i would like to share few static methods which helps you to get better traffic.

1. Content - What makes your visitors to view your page is content. So write quality and unique content.
2. How to reach your well written content - use social media
3. What type of social media will generate more traffic - facebook ( likes, shares and comments ), Twitter ( tweets and retweets ), Pinterest ( images speaks better than content ), Linkedin ( Reaches more directly to the business people ), Scoopit ( Shares, post and comment ), Tumblr ( shares, post, likes and comment ), etc...
4. What are the other ways to get traffic - Forums posting ( signature ), content marketing ( guest post and article submissions ), Bookmarking ( relevant and PR sites ), Profile creation ( for valuable backlinks ), Press release and News Letter.

Note : Above methods suits for blogs, eCommerce sites and static websites.

 

Best marketing for 2014 is same as last year.

I like paid traffic as well. The reason is that it sends instant and targeted traffic to sites.

 

Yes, I agree social media is something which cannot be ignored.
Social media is getting powerful every day.
More people are tending to social media these days, so no one can deny power of social media.

 

Best will always be search engines but the problem is, you can't rank well fast. For me, I think it will be inbound marketing methods - Content marketing + Social Media + anything which will give long term return. Paid Media is fine for short term goals.

 

Paid traffic is the best one. Those who are master in paid traffic will always survive because they are able to pull traffic at any time to their sites. I love paid traffic too.

 

Forum Posting still working same and free of cost also.. Second one is Social Network also and soo usefull..

 

I think paid ad's on Facebook is useless. Social media is great, but I would never pay FB again. Blogging and updating content for your niche is good, but to expand I think you have to branch out and definitely include forum posting.

more and more people lack the patience of reading a well written article or even watching a detailed video over 5 minutes. (look how popular vine is/was)

I am def changing the course or direction of my business to have a more video focused feel in 2014, primarily through youtube.

Traffic from Google is the best. Google loves unique, well-optimized content mixed with unique images.

 

to get ranked to the top of google page requires a lot of work.

 

I Write user friendly content and post it to Different Social media websites. Run Campaigns on Social media websites.
