I am agree with Pophucan. I was also suffering the same. I think some time keyword planner show wrong results because some keyword for those we can expect such search volume shows very high search volume.

What keyword are you talking about? Are you sure you've added your Google Analytics tracking code correctly?

I've checked everything showing Analytics showing traffic but not as expected by me. According to Adword the monthly searches are 8000+ and even after getting ranked for that keyword not getting 100+ visit how is that happening???

8000+ monthly searches and all of them are ignoring at least 100+ is expected if not 1000+.

Are sure you have Google Analytics on every page of your site? You should add it to the header or footer before the </head> tag. If did not add the code correctly, Google Analytics may be showing the wrong data.

Also, try using other sources to check your traffic like http://piwik.org and compare the results.

Alexa is not accurate. Try comparing statistics from GA with statistics from Piwik.org

I want to know that if from Google search link site first lend to a page which doesn't have analytic installed and then redirect to page where analytic code is installed, in this case does Google Analytics detect organic search traffic or direct traffic?
    Please help thanks.

If, for example, you have a 301 redirect it should still track it as organic traffic.

I would recommend to add your site to google.com/webmasters , make sure that the site is verified and wait for several days before the data pours in. Then, check your site's position for that specific keyword. You may see that your site is not ranking too high organically (positions above 5 would have minimal clickthrough rates). If this is the case, you will have to apply some "elbow grease": optimizations, content reviews, link boostings.

I suggest to improve your site description to attract more clicks. You can rank but if you don't have a cool description you lose visitors.

Thanks to everyone, but finally I'm able to find what is wrong with this, it's about Analytics tracking code. The code was not implemented on the landing page where Analytics code is implemented so it track traffic as a direct traffic rather than organic.
