    today my CTR increased by 500%
    I made no change, nothing changes on the content or the site stats average !!

    I think he meant it went up 5x, so if it was 1% the last two weeks, it was 5% today or something.

    I fully agree. It used to be a nice "approved" technique, but not anymore.

    You may see a short-term increase in earnings, but I doubt you'd like a life-time ban.

    Use this technique at your own risk.

    Yep, it's getting a little out of hand these days. At this point it's easier to just disallow images by ads than analyzing it on a case by case basis.
