Yeah you can bring a lot of visitors by using YAHOO Answers. You firstly should know your niche and what you are about to answer in yahoo answers. And putting your website link in that answer would be a great place to market your website but remember you should 1st remember about your answer and then abour your link. If you answer the question not in the specific way then you will banned by Yahoo. Hope you find what i am trying to say ! Thanks :)

You can get links in Yahoo answers, but the links have to be related to the question and useful. So for example if someone asks a question about formatting their CV, or fixing a sink or whatever and you have an article about that on your blog, you can link to your blog article in your answer

Don't get banned from YA. You'll never be allowed on that site again. It's not fun, especially if you've had the Answers account for years. It works fine as long as the links are not too promotional.

I've just reached Yahoo! Answers Level 2 and as soon as I've posted one answer with a link to my favorite tea site, my answer got deleted!

Mobile verification these days is less than a dollar on the internet, if you know the right place to look. ;)

Any traffic is preferred. An excess of money isn't necessary yet we all wan't it.

I don't think it is worth the time to focus on Yahoo answers. They are very strict and your account can get deleted or not allowed for just a minor infraction. Getting one or a few links from them is enough. Not worth the risk.

my suggestion is to always write related answers and be wise. also, change domains and pages in the links. If you always include the same domain I'm sure you'll have soon an issue with your account.

Always think of user point of view when answering questions.. No one will report if the given answer is spot on and the link is relevant.

I disagree. There are some people out there who flag any post they see that has a link, relevant or not. Same thing happens on Craigslist and other sites too.

True.. I think even competitors might report if they see you ranking for your keyword.. So yahoo answers is a big no for serious sites. Losing back links is also not very healthy for the site's SEO. Thanks for pointing out mate.

anyway, admins should understand if a report is useless or made from competitors.

I don't disagree, but some reporting/flagging systems are automated instead of being reviewed by a human being.

There's a good free 5 part mini ecourse on Internet Traffic Generation that has some ideas for what you may be looking for to get some free traffic.

Also, if you haven't gotten onto Twitter yet, or Facebook, you definitely want to consider these social sites for generating loads of free traffic to your site. But, you really need to know what to do before you just jump on and start tweeting or posting right off the bat. The other site has a free article about Twitter and how to get started, and the last one is a much more in-depth report which will really get you out there to get followers and see a massive jump in traffic to your site.

I hope these help you! Good luck!
