Linking Twitter to Facebook

I am trying link accounts to Facebook and Google+. I've done it before and I know it's easy, but for some reason it's not working. I am getting the following message "Failed to load the Facebook SDK. Please make sure you are not blocking connect.facebook.net." I would be grateful for some help.

Thank you. Two questions - 1) Where is the option to connect accounts? I can't find it. 2) This is helpful, although what I want to do is link my Twitter to Facebook. :)

To connect your Twitter account and your Facebook profile:
    1. Log in to the Twitter account you want to associate with your Facebook profile.
    2. Go to your Settings menu's Profile tab.
    3. Scroll to the bottom and click Sign in to Facebook and connect your accounts.
    4. When prompted, select the privacy settings for who will see your Tweets posted to your Facebook wall. It is set to public by default.
    5. Click Log in with Facebook and enter your Facebook login credentials.
    6. Click Allow to accept permissions.
    7. Your Tweets will now post to your profile Facebook wall and your username will be displayed there as well. @Replies will not be posted.

Same issue here. And for some reason there is no solution around the web, even though other people are picking up the issue.

Hassan, this is the problem Sam is talking about:

This is on the Twitter settings page. For some reason Twitter cannot connect to Facebook.
You mention something about hotspots shield, can you elaborate? Also, other places on the net say there is an issue with a file called "all.js" which I think is on Facebook's end. Know anything about that?

Hi - I am resurrecting this thread... Did anyone resolve this issue with Twitter failing to connect to Facebook?
I am having exactly the same issue and can't find any help on the web.
Twitter Profile page states: "Failed to load the Facebook SDK. Please make sure you are not blocking connect.facebook.net."

But I am not sure where I should look on my PC to check I am not blocking connect.facebook.net

    Any help much appreciated.

The issue stopped once I switched from Firefox to Chrome. My two accounts are connected as usual in Chrome. I have no idea why.

It might be a malware issue as well, because around the time I switched to Chrome I also downloaded Malware Bytes and did a scan. Hope that helps.

I'm getting the exact same error message and i'm using Chrome. For some reason the dumb thing won't let me connect. I want to disable the twitter feeds going to my FB fan page. Anybody know of a solution other than using chrome???

I had the exact same problem. I am using Chrome with Win7 64bit and for several weeks I have had the same Facebook SDK error message appear on Twitter.
    Not being exactly what you would call a technical genius, my massive single brain cell latched onto the following idea;

Using Chrome, download Safari web browser (choosing not to make it the default browser at install stage).
After install, use Safari to open your Twitter a/c, click Settings, select Apps,.... and hey presto,... the Facebook SDK link loads so beautifully and I was able to log-in to my FB account
    to link Tweets with FB!

I hope this works for others as quickly and successfully as it did for me.

Continue to shine bright like diamonds peeps! :)
