I speak Filipino and English. Although I would love to learn other language like Chinese, Spanish and Arabic.
English off course, apart from that, Hindi, Punjabi (not fluently) & Marathi (almost broken). But I am happy that my kid is learning French and she is a top scorer.
I speak 5 languages - Greek, German, English, French and Spanish and I actually love travelling and speaking foreign languages.
I can speak three language perfectly and I can also understand little bit of Spanish. it is the best European language which interesting to learn.
Wouldn't go that far. It is merely a language. It's the most common language, no point of calling it the best one.
I speak English very, very fluently (mum was a grammar nut, dad and grandma were very involved in reading "classic" lit like Dickens and Shakespeare, etc.). I got words from Dad and grammar from Mum. That said, I began teaching myself German last year. It's amazing how easy it is to learn, considering. The single biggest boon to my being able to learn was "In German, all letters have some pronunciation." I've used that iPad app (Duolingo) to get myself into the daily groove. I've listened to German lyric music for since I was little, so the sound of words and stuff is already pretty familiar... even while David Hasselhoff isn't exactly German... lol
I speak & write/read : Romanian, English, Hungarian. And i understand/speak : Italian, French, Romani ( gipsy language )
