Anyone have a successful verification in Paypal useing Debit Card in India?

hello all
I am finding it very difficult to verify myself in paypal.
I can't afford to have a Credit Card.
What I can do is apply for a Debit Card from my bank.
Now, my question is anyone here made a successful verification using ICICI/HDFC Debit Card? If yes, please tell me how to do it as I am trying form last month but every time I enter the card number it gives a error message that the card has been denied by the issuer.

I don't think you can verify your account with your Debit Card as you are in India.Why not buy a visual CC??It's only around $15

 

indian debitcards can be used for processing only in INR not in forgien currency so it gets declined

Go for HDFC bank gold debit card. It costs you 500 per year to have that. With that you can choose their netsafe services. There you can create virtual credit cards and then pay for anything you want. Whichever currency. And you can get your paypal verified in less than 20 minutes.

 

I think it is only for HDFC credit card because I tried my Fathers credit card and only with credit card we can create virtual cards I think is it true That with
HDFC debit card can we verify?

 

Would I tell you if we couldnt. But it has to be VISA gold debit card.

don't try to the virtual credit card or any virtual card. paypal will not accept them, or it will accept but after short time it will register invalid once they check

 

Virtual card are scams and maybe very soon your paypal account will be blocked. Paypal accepts debit cards, Please check their website.

 

Get a credit card . It wont cost you much. HDFC may be. Pay your mobile ph bils with it (just suggesting). If you do not pay your phone bills it will cost you Rs700 one time. use it to verify Paypal. Dont go for virtual cards.

No.. all you need is a VISA Card from HDFC and you can create your virtual credit card and the service is free of cost. So there is no need to apply a CREDIT CARD. Just Open a Saving Account with the HDFC and then apply for a EasyShop Debit Card (regular one) which costs Rs. 100 and then use that for NetSafe and verify your PayPal. You may also open a No Frills Account with the bank if you dont want to operate your account its min. balance is just Rs. 250. When applying for that account apply for a debit card as by default they provide a regualr ATM Card Only.
