Have not used the product, just download it and will try to experiment with my blog. Thanks it has been a great find for me today.
From what I’ve gathered about this tool it’s to be used more as a link-buying software than analytical software. If we take that into account, it seems like this is kind of a waste of time, money, and it has a lot of risks with it. Google is pretty strict about these link-wheel-schematics, and this could easily score you a nice little ban. I’m not kicking this soft to the curb, but I think it’s definitely not the best tool to do what is described by the OP. I can’t, for example, punch in my domain and see who’s linking to it. If I wanted to do that there’s other software that would be better suited for it. https://ahrefs.com, opensiteexplorer, majesticSEO, and moonsearch.com — just to name a few of the ones i’ve seen mentioned on DP recently.
Doesn't anybody read here? You buy links, let's say for a year, and you use this soft to monitor the link to make sure it's still live, the same applies to your guest posts and other links... basically, you get notified when your link gets removed.
Downloading and installing software in 2014? how weird in times of web-services everywhere...I'd say it's even suspicious. lol I had used to pay ahrefs for quite a long time, but recently I switched to free services like moonsearch.com and Openlinkprofiler. They do pretty much the same showing do/no follow stuff, PR, ALEXA...
In my experience I'd say you're spot on with the first three - in particular Majestic - but moonsearch just doesn't seem to have any real data in comparison to the others and comes up short time and again.
