So, I received a warning for updating a forsale thread. When I click on the "warnings" section of my profile, then on the warning title (which links to https://forums.digitalpoint.com/posts/18903483/ ) I receive the following message: Digital Point - Error You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.
The infraction was for posting a still for sale message which is a form of bumping. Since sales thread is an auction, there is a presumption item is still for sale since item is not marked sold and thread is not closed.
I'm not arguing whether or not I should receive an infraction. I'm saying that I receive a permissions error when trying to view the infraction. I am unable to see what I've done wrong.
As a side note, I thought that posting in a forsale thread no longer moved it to the top of the category, which effectively stopped all bumping.
Hey, you should have got a email with your post. The post/thread is now only viewable by moderators. Do not receive more than 5 infractions, your account will be banned until one expires.
