Where is your favorite tourist spot?

I had visited THAILAND around 4 times.
As normally people would think Thailand is known for Sex Tourism & Night life , but beyond that there are lot more to see / experience & adventure.
I have been to Bangkok , Phuket & Pattaya.
You will have to spend atleast 5 days in Bangkok , 2 days in Pattaya & 3 days in Phuket , only then you will be able to cover all the tourist attractions.

The cost of living is really cheaper than other Asian countries as well as western countries.
Road Transport / Airlines are well connected so you can go anywhere easily.

If you are a SOLO traveler , its best place to visit , as the people are tourist friendly & safe country to be with.
If you are on honey moon or going with group of friends , you would definitely enjoy your life with all fun.

Anyway this is my experience.

The funniest airport t-shirt I have ever seen (I have been a road warrior and have logged hundreds of thousands of air miles over the course of my career) was one in Salt Lake City. It said:

"Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, for tomorrow you may be in Utah!"

I am guessing that you like it for the mountains, not the city nightlife.

Goa (any time) is my favourite tourist destination.

I really love to see those old churches & monuments and beaches off course.

 

Sounds like my happy place, I imagine my sleeping bag with all of my favorite blankets with it!
As far as a place to actually visit, I would probably pick a big city shopping spree for sporting goods equipment! (since I live in a small town and travel for a living anyway)

 

Mine is Shimla, Kulu and Manali, I have reccently visited third time with my friends, Very good nature, surely said, fine creatures of God

 

php techie i agree with you, thai rocks! if you come here again make sure you try something "out of the box" (if you love animals)
